News of the day!

Good Morning Tuesday,
I made the beds this morning and the dogs Charlie and Gizmo enjoyed the picture taking time - not know it was about the paintings and not them!! So there they are up on the wall!!
I have to work today at the office so I need to get going, but Carole Hillsbery uploaded her new http://www.wmaag.com/ Assignment #8 painting and you have to go see it!!!! So go to the web site and scroll down to Carole's page and click on her link to Assignment #8 and leave her a comment!
More news-- Sara (my oldest daughter) just created a new web site and I will post her link herehttp://web.me.com/sarchambo81/Saras_CupCakes/Welcome.html and she loves to bake cakes and cupcakes for events! if this link doesn't work, then go to my husband's web site at http://www.ahwendo.com/ and go to her page and click on her link!
I ordered a cupcake cake for the Riehm Family Reunion Party that everyone is invited to attend and meet Rich's sisters and mother for August 27!! I am hoping everyone in the Phoenix area comes over and sees my clean house for that one night!!!! After that it is back to the disaster that I love - full of happy cats and dogs and birds and all their messes!! I don't know if my art studio will be cleaned up....I have so many painting to work on...it's hard to put them all away!!
Anyways, that's my news, got to get to work!

The wall looks great now - painted a warm white - and after we get a little breakfast in us - Rich and I are hanging the paintings, rearranging our bedroom furniture, replacing the ceiling fan, and then cleaning the carpet.

Wet-into-Wet Painting morning

Today is a "Wet-into-Wet" morning and it sure was fun! After it dries I will create small flower images and may cut this sheet into 18 small paintings! We will see how brave I am at the end of the night!
The 4 small stamped flower painting that was on the table yesterday morning were gobbled up by adoring fans yesterday afternoon....my staff... so I started some more last night and hope they make it to First Fridays...!!
Today I'm having lunch with my brother, Gary (who recently retired from his teaching career) and Mom--I am showing Gary the process of checking Mom out of Sunrise and all the codes and alarm codes!! Poor Mommy - she needs a lot of help, but is so sweet and happy! Happy to break out of Sunrise anytime she can leave!
Tomorrow I take my "Ancient Purple Ruins" painting to ASU-West Fletcher Library for the AWA National Exhibition hanging and I'm so thrilled to be juried into this exhibition and it is a real honor to be in the national show...really!! I heard that the juror, Frank Webb, received around 775 painting images and he choose 75 paintings, so this is really big for me...for me it is my first national show! My painting will hang for 6 weeks and I would imagine a lot of people will get to see it at the library, so that is exciting, too!
I've been thinking about the www.wmaag.com art assignment and I will start it tonight! I'll get some photos of my ideas and post them soon!

a few more completed works

Happy
Wednesday!
I framed 2 small paintings last night and still have 11 small ones on the table and a 12"x12" paintings that I will attempt to mount onto an acrylic-embellished canvas and then varnish. My idea is to make my small watercolor paintings easy to hang without frames and glass. If i decide to sell at the Festival of Lights and/or First Fridays -- I want my small watercolor paintings to be easy to hang right when they get to their new home! Some collectors just don't get abstract -- so I will attempt to offer some embellished stamped artworks like the 4 flower artworks on my table.
I am going to attempt some small landscapes, too -- which I think will help incorporate the newest assignment on the http://www.wmaag.com/ site by using shapes and patterns (lights and darks) and paint a barn using one pigment each for my spiritual, physical and mental personality character of myself.
Any suggestions of "my" colors??

More completed - framed art works

Good morning world!
I matted and framed 5 small works of art last night! My table is getting cleared off and I have just a few left to finish and a few still to start.
I want to get busy starting the newest assignment from www.wmaag.com site, too----I'm working up to that big assignment!
I received an email yesterday about applying for the upcoming "Festival of Lights" event and if these small works of art sell - I just might sign up again for the event. Most people browsing the FOL last November bought small items - last minute Christmas gifts...so ---we will see my small paintings sell soon... though I have to decide by August 31st.
